Today's top media spins

4. Shh! Obama is talking! Is it creepy that when I see Obama on television I stop what I’m doing, turn off all the lights, and stare at the television set with ‘fight or flight’ intensity? It’s all about moment. When all the reporters scurry for their seats mid-gossip like those roaches when you turn on the bathroom light (that's a reference only New Yorkers will understand). That wonderful hush in the room before Obama takes the podium and empties his syringe of Obama heroin into our collective veins and for a moment we just feel good. I think he was talking about the economy or something.

3. The stores that try to freeze me out are going out of business. I respect Neiman’s and Nordstrom’s because they are the only stores with the courage to treat me like the scum I am. But it looks like they might be letting in 20-something girls with gaping armpit holes in their sweaters, because their retail sales are down by 31% and 18%, respectively. And Abercrombie and Fitch is down 24%! That’ll sic it to those girls who made fun of me in middle school! Oh, wait, we’ve all moved on……

2. Palin belives in reparations…for herself.
Tina Fey, NBC, Jon Stewart and all the other godless members of the elite media have prospered off Palin's stupidity. Meanwhile, Kennedy is getting a free ride and that can only mean that Palin is the victim of class warfare. But as the Huffington Post correctly points out, though, Kennedy is.....not an ethically-base moron.

2. Speaking of embarrassing relics of the McCain campaign, Joe the Plumber heads to Israel! The ideal arbiter of a complex humanitarian crisis. Such a brave, brave, unlicensed plumber.

and finally...

1. This isn't a media spin. But this is comedian Mary Van Note and I like her anti-Canadian moxie. Female comedian in the White House 2016! The clip is here.
